| NIMAS is a wonderful beginning to making content available to students who struggle with print text. As more information is provided to them in an alternate, accessible format, the barriers to opportunity will disappear. We will discuss how NIMAS benefits students who qualify for specialized formats of instructional materials and ways to ensure your students receive the accessible instructional materials they need. We will introduce you to proven tools and resources, such as Read:OutLoud, a technology solution that allows you to utilize and comply with NIMAS initiatives by easily translating and reading digital text for your print-disabled students. |
